Housing Plus Group is developing Cedarwood at the William Farr site under its ShireLiving brand. Opening later this year, the scheme will provide 68 self-contained extra care apartments and eight bungalows for people aged 55 and over, alongside a community space and café.
Drop-in events will be held from 10am to 3pm on Tuesday 22 and Friday 25 September at Radbrook Community Centre.
Visitors can find out more about the homes available at Cedarwood, as well as employment opportunities in care, catering and building maintenance. Anyone interested in an informal conversation with the recruitment team can email careers@hpg.org.uk, while all vacancies will be advertised at jobs.hpg.org.uk.
Guests can enjoy refreshments while speaking with teams from across Housing Plus Group about life at Cedarwood and the services on offer. There will also be an opportunity to arrange a visit to the recently completed show apartment, available to view by appointment.
Teresa Tudor, Area Manager at Housing Plus Group, said:
“These events are an opportunity for people to find out more about the homes available at Cedarwood, whether they’re considering a move themselves or exploring options for a family member.
“They also provide a chance to learn about the range of job opportunities that will become available when the scheme opens later this year.
“Housing Plus Group provides affordable homes for more than 33,000 people and is one of the largest care and support providers in the region.
