Homes Plus funding boost hits the right note for young musicians

Stone Scout and Guide Band has received a much-needed boost, with a grant from Homes Plus.

Our Homes Plus My Community Fund supports grass roots organisations in Staffordshire and Shropshire. A grant from the fund will be used to maintain the band’s instruments and provide new uniforms for the young musicians.

Each year, Shrewsbury and Oswestry Crucial Crew holds an event attended by as many as 1500 children from up to 60 local primary schools as part of the all-important preparation for secondary school.   

Bright future for bowling club thanks to funding boost

A Shropshire bowling club which began when a group of players set an ambitious target to restore a historic bowling green in Monkmoor six years ago, has been backed by Homes Plus.
