Our Burton Square Community Hub has become a ‘warm space’ for those in need this winter.
It is among a network of community organisations, churches, libraries and businesses who are opening their doors as friendly ‘warm spaces’ during the colder months.
These welcoming sessions provide an opportunity for anyone to enjoy a cuppa and some snacks while socialising with others in a safe and warm environment.
Geoffrey visits the hub every week for a drink and a natter.
He said: “The hub is a lifeline; it’s changed my life. It’s given me people to talk to, and I’ve made friends here.
“I come at least twice a week and they have my cup of coffee ready for when I arrive!”
Join us at Burton Square Community Hub every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9.30am and 12.30pm and 1.30pm and 4pm.
You can find us at 12, Burton Square, Stafford, ST17 9LT.
We are so proud to be part of Stafford Borough Council’s Warm Spaces for a third year. You can find information about other Warm Spaces in your area by visiting staffordbc.gov.uk/warm-spaces
