“I didn’t want other people to feel how I feel.”
Following the deaths of her two eldest sons, Shane Game started the Shrewsbury Bereavement Group to help people to talk about losing their loved ones and how it has affected them.
The Homes Plus customer set up the group in 2023, initially holding the sessions at her home.
After applying for support through our My Community Fund, we were able to provide Shane with a space to hold the sessions at our Community Hub, in Castlefields, where they are now held on the first Wednesday of every month.
